L’ÉCOLE School of Jewelry Arts launches Arabic-language program in Dubai
L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts, supported by Van Cleef & Arpels, has launched a dedicated Arabic-language educational program at its Dubai campus in September 2026. The initiative aims to make jewelry education more accessible to Arabic-speaking audiences across the Middle East.
💎 What does the program offer?
The initial Arabic program includes three courses:
- From Design to Mock-up — introduces participants to the first stages of designing a jewel, from drawing to creating a three-dimensional mock-up.
- The Making of a Jewel — explores jewelry history, gemstones and the different techniques involved in creating a piece.
- The Engagement Ring: A Love Story — examines the history, symbolism and craftsmanship associated with engagement rings.
The courses are taught by Arabic-speaking lecturers and combine theoretical learning with practical, hands-on activities. They are open to adults of different experience levels, from complete beginners to collectors and jewelry enthusiasts.
🏛️ Beyond the courses
The initiative goes beyond classroom teaching. L’ÉCOLE is also offering talks in Arabic, both online and in person, covering subjects such as jewelry history, gemstones and traditional craftsmanship.
The school is also introducing Arabic episodes of its “Voice of Jewels” podcast, including episodes dedicated to the history of gold.

L’ÉCOLE established its permanent Dubai campus in 2024, joining its other permanent locations in Paris, Hong Kong and Shanghai. The Arabic-language program reflects the school’s effort to deepen its connection with audiences in the Middle East and present jewelry culture in the region’s native language.
In short: the initiative brings education in jewelry history, gemology, design and craftsmanship to a broader Arabic-speaking audience, while connecting international jewelry
