Saudi Arabia’s Operating Revenues Index rises 6.1% in June
Saudi Arabia’s Operating Revenues Index increased by 6.1% year on year in June 2026, reflecting continued momentum in the Kingdom’s non-oil economy. The data was released by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).
- 🏭 Manufacturing: revenues increased by 16.9%.
- 💰 Financial and insurance activities: also grew by 16.9%.
- 🛍️ Wholesale and retail trade: rose 0.6%.
- 🏗️ Construction: increased 2.3%.
- 📡 Information and communications: grew 5.4%.
- 👷 Employee compensation: increased 9.1% year on year.
The figures highlight the growing contribution of non-oil sectors to Saudi Arabia’s economy as the Kingdom continues implementing its Vision 2030 diversification strategy. In the first quarter of 2026, non-oil activities contributed 1.7 percentage points to overall GDP growth.
