Closing Bell: Saudi main index closes in green at 11,849


 On Wednesday, Saudi Arabia's Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) saw a positive uptick, closing at 11,849.65 after gaining 52.81 points, or 0.45 percent. The market had a total trading turnover of SR6.93 billion ($1.85 billion), with 186 stocks advancing and 39 declining. The MSCI Tadawul Index also posted gains, increasing by 3.38 points, or 0.23 percent, to finish at 1,481.99.

In the parallel market, Nomu experienced a rise of 169.77 points, or 0.67 percent, closing at 25,534.89, with 33 stocks advancing and 36 retreating.

The day's top performer on the main index was Kingdom Holding Co., whose share price surged by 10 percent to SR8.47. Middle East Healthcare Co. and CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance Co. were also among the top gainers, with their share prices rising 9.97 percent and 9.93 percent, respectively. Other notable gainers included Saudi Automotive Services Co. and Al-Baha Investment and Development Co.

On the downside, AL Maather REIT Fund was the worst performer, with its share price dropping by 3.51 percent to SR8.79. National Shipping Co. of Saudi Arabia and Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Co. also saw declines, along with City Cement Co. and Saudi Basic Industries Corp.

In the parallel market, Fad International Co. and United Mining Industries Co. led the gains, while Mulkia Investment Co. and Mayar Holding Co. were the worst performers.
