Al-Nassr coach Castro hopes referee is up to the task in Super Cup final clash with Al-Hilal

Al-Nassr's head coach, Luis Castro, acknowledged the formidable challenge that Al-Hilal will pose in the upcoming Saudi Super Cup final, scheduled for Saturday in Abha. Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Castro emphasized the high quality of both teams, expressing hope that the match would be a showcase for Saudi football.

Castro highlighted the intense rivalry between Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal, noting their recent encounters in two finals, with each team securing one victory. He stressed the importance of his team playing well and remaining focused on winning, while also expressing a desire for the referee to manage the match effectively, particularly during tense moments.

On the other side, Al-Hilal's coach, Jorge Jesus, addressed the media, clarifying that his decision to start Hamad Al-Yami over Saud Abdulhamid was purely tactical and not related to rumors of Abdulhamid's potential move to AS Roma. Jesus also discussed the possibility of Malcom's participation in the final, stating that if the player is fit after rejoining the team, he could be an important asset in the match.

Both coaches expressed confidence in their teams and anticipated an exciting and competitive final, reflecting the growing strength of Saudi football on the international stage. The match is expected to draw significant attention, with broadcasts reaching audiences in multiple countries, further highlighting the prominence of the Saudi football scene.
