Mona Tougaard stuns at 032c’s Paris Fashion Week show

Berlin-based magazine-turned-fashion label 032c made waves at Paris Fashion Week with its menswear spring/summer 2025 collection, featuring the striking presence of Middle Eastern model Mona Tougaard.

Tougaard, with her diverse heritage encompassing Danish, Turkish, Somali, and Ethiopian roots, graced the runway in a sleek, form-fitting suit ensemble. Her look, accentuated by dark shades and a chic low bun, exuded an aura of sophistication and style.

Notably, Tougaard wasn't the sole regional representation on the catwalk; British Moroccan model Nora Attal also made an appearance, captivating in a sheer, reflective black dress with a fishnet-like texture.

The collection, aptly named "Everything Counts" and helmed by designer Maria Koch, showcased a blend of outerwear, feminine suiting, and versatile denim coordinates suitable for various occasions.

Signature 032c jackets adorned with tonal gothic lettering, alongside army parkas and deconstructable cargo pants paired with boxy vinyl tops, added an edgy yet refined touch to the lineup.

Amidst the array of designs, party-ready ensembles featuring sheer gowns embellished with rhinestones stood out, offering a glimpse of glamour and allure.

Moreover, the collaboration with Georgian-American artist Ketuta Alexi-Meskhishvili brought forth blurred floral shirts and other artistic elements, adding depth and creativity to the collection.

The fashion spectacle was not only about the clothing but also marked a significant announcement as Tougaard was named the artistic talent director for the collection, solidifying her integral role within the 032c creative realm.

Tougaard's journey from winning the Elite Model Look Denmark competition in 2017 to becoming a prominent figure in the industry, working with renowned designers and luxury brands, underscores her influence and versatility as a model and creative force.
