The outage also impacted other social media platforms like YouTube and X. Downdetector reported over 500,000 people experiencing issues with Facebook, which later decreased to around 200,000. Instagram and WhatsApp also faced disruptions, with more than 73,000 reports for Instagram at its peak. Meta's business tools, Ads Manager, Meta Admin Center, and others were affected, including internal tools like Workplace.
