KSrelief continues medical work, water projects in Yemen


RIYADH: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has given an update on its ongoing water supply and environmental sanitation projects in the Yemeni directorates of Midi, Haradh, Hiran, and Abs in Hajjah governorates, and Al-Azhor camp in Razih directorate in the Saada governorate.

During the period up to April 19, KSrelief pumped a total of 3,742,000 liters of usable water in Hajjah, in addition to pumping 696,000 liters of potable.

In Saada, 100,000 liters of potable water were pumped, and 40,000 liters of potable water were also provided, benefiting 29,621 people, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

In the same period, KSrelief mobile medical clinics at Waalan camp in Hajjah governorate provided medical services to 186 beneficiaries.

The clinics received 116 patients with various health conditions in different clinics and departments and provided them with necessary medical services, in addition to implementing two waste disposal activities.

In Yemen, KSRelief has carried out hundreds of humanitarian projects, including initiatives in the health sector, food security, education, emergency communications, and sanitation.
